THE RICHTER CONNECTOR SYSTEM
Bernd Richter offers its own standard connector system which is modifiable with different colors and keyways. The connector is available in multiple versions, right angled and straight and different sizes. We offer up to 12 contacts. Extraction forces are defined by ideal retention.

Finewire
Finewire offers the advantage of realizing complex cable connections in the smallest possible size. The termination of these small wires requires the highest degree of precision and process reliability. Finewire wires in a cable set new standards in production. 0.0633 mm: this is how small the diameter of a stranded wire is at AWG 42! For comparison: a human hair is between 0.06 and 0.08 mm thick. Bernd Richter manufactures solutions that exceed the highest demands.

HYBRID CABLE/FIBER OPTIC
The combination of fiber optics and conventional low voltage wire transmission technology in one cable requires special skills and many years of experience. Bernd Richter offers a connection from the patient to the device via several interfaces without significant losses in transmission.

SILICONE / AUTOCLAVABILITY
Cables used in surgery must give the surgeon maximum freedom of movement. In addition, the high temperatures during sterilization and autoclaving place additional stress on the cable material. Bernd Richter silicone cable systems fulfill both of these requirements. The optional surface coating offers a silky pleasant feel, is easy to clean, and ensures durability.

PCB SOLUTIONS
Integrated circuit boards provide high signal integrity embedded inside the connector or enclosure. The size of the connector may be reduced compared to conventional standard connectors. Solder joints and components are protected on our encapsulated PCBAs.
