With an undergraduate degree in a business administration and a master’s degree in international management, Thomas Grimm joined the company more than ten years ago. During his years as Supply Chain Manager, he improved the processes there. In 2018, he moved to the management board, where he oversaw the successful integration into the Amphenol Group, among other things. With the introduction of new technologies and the further expansion of production capacities, he is leading the company into the future. For relaxation and work-life-balance, he likes to spend his free time with his wife and son or doing sports (dancing, inline skating, skiing).
Christopher Kott, who has been with the company since 2011, is the youngest member of the management team. With a degree in industrial engineering, he has his roots in product development and therefore knows what the market demands. Upon gaining his master’s degree in quality engineering, he took over as Deputy Head of Quality Management in 2017 and has been in charge of Strategic Corporate Development since 2019. His technical and business background is an ideal basis for steering the company towards a flourishing business development and opening up future markets. In his free time, he uses every free minute to be on the golf course and pursue his passion.
Walter Schymitzek joined the company in 2019 and is responsible for Controlling and Finance. He has been a member of the management team since 2020. After studying business administration, he worked in the auditing and tax consulting industry. Subsequently, Mr. Schymitzek gained extensive professional experience in the controlling/accounting department of an internationally operating company. He creates the link to Amphenol’s reporting by compiling the operational figures, preparing monthly and annual financial statements, coordinating monthly reporting and managing budget planning and forecasting. Walter Schymitzek is an avid cyclist and has two children.
